Jack Irwin is a 2026 SS/RHP, 2B, 3B with a 5-7 125 lb. frame from Scottsdale, AZ who attends Fountain Hills. Features a lanky build with room to add more. Ran an 8.14 60-yard dash. Worked out both on the infield and in the outfield. Charged the ball hard in the outfield. Maintained body control well, allowing the ball to be caught cleanly. Still developing transfer into long arm action throws. Used aggressive approach on the dirt as well. Has the ability to range well in both directions. Was accurate with a majority of throws showing solid arm strength. Threw 73 mph across the diamond. Right-handed hitter. Utilizes an open stance with a narrow base and high back elbow. Displayed a direct path through the zone. Still developing feel for the barrel. Adding loft and strength would help generate more power. Also threw as a righthanded pitcher. Uses a semi-windup delivery into tall and fall mechanics down the mound. Throws from a high 3/4 slot with a long arm action. Still developing fluidity throughout the arm swing. The fastball sat 70-74 mph with slight armside run. Throws it around the zone often with the ability to get it in on right-handed hitters. Paired the heater with a slider at 63-66 mph with short, tilting action. Flashed the ability to create bite when thrown with conviction. Still developing consistency of the pitch. Has an intriguing pitching foundation with time to keep developing.
