LATEST PG SHOWCASE REPORT
2023 West Academic Showcase (Tues-Wed)
Adam Arteaga is a 2024 3B/RHP, 2B, SS with an athletic 5-9 155 lb. frame from Los Angeles, CA who attends Culver City HS. Started the event clocking a 7.80 60-yard dash. A primary third baseman that pitches as well. Showed the ability on the dirt to use the proper glove and footwork techniques and working through the baseball with confidence, athleticism and making strong, accurate throws across the diamond. Arteaga is a switch hitter that demonstrated the ability to mirror his swing from both sides of the plate and square up the ball consistently in his BP round while using an all-fields approach. Hopped on the mound featuring a 4-pitch mix that includes a fastball, curveball, slider and changeup. Works exclusively out of the stretch, shows fundamentally sound mechanics with a repeatable delivery out of a high 3/4 arm slot. Had the ability to throw strikes consistently with his fastball and land his secondary offerings. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
