Jacob Lombard is a 2026 SS/2B/3B with a 6-1 170 lb. frame from Pinecrest, FL who attends Gulliver Schools. Large, athletic frame with square shoulders and present strength, additional room to fill throughout moving forward. Moves well, posted a 6.86 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, loose and athletic actions in the dirt, fields it out front with smooth movements to either side showing lateral range, softness to hands out front, longer arm action through the back but works through cleanly and on time with carry across, nice tools to follow moving forward. Right-handed hitter, begins with a high hand set and back elbow at the plate; utilizes a leg lift trigger for timing in the box. Turns over the barrel well and shows plenty of present bat speed through the zone with the ability to barrel to both gaps. Stays compact with swing path, best juice currently to pull side but can go the other way withi carry coming off, lifts it well and will continue add additional strength.
