Gerardo X Santana is a 2022 LHP/ with a 6-3 160 lb. frame from Dorado, PR who attends Puerto Rico Baseball Academy. Long and high waisted frame with significant room for additional strength. Primary lefthanded pitcher who only pitched during the event. Long, offline arm action that generates good whip throughout the arm circle. Good sink on the fastball that topped out at 77 mph and has good angle too. Athleticism throughout the delivery with good feel and mound presence. Tough at-bat for lefthanded hitters given deception and angle. Curveball has some good depth and can be landed for strikes. Good combination of projection and feel. Great student.
