Cameron Nguyen is a 2027 OF/RHP/2B/SS with a 5-1 105 lb. frame from Houston, TX. Posted an 8.30 in the 60 yard dash. Posted an 8.30 in the 60 yard dash. Primary OF, plays downhill with good control through the play. Showed good fundamentals in his actions with intent to finish. Developing arm strength will follow with physical development, showed a present fluid arm action. In the infield the footwork translates well alongside aggressive actions. Lateral movements showed good upside with glove skill to both sides. Makes the arm tool work with more to come. Also pitched, the right-hander has some solid quick twitch movement getting down the hill. Utilizes a simple operation, has some moving pieces in the delivery to repeat more consistently. Right handed hitter, starts slightly open with a light load and shift into contact. Showed a flat path through the zone with good feel for the barrel. Worked a whole field approach well with decent jump to all parts.
