Jaden Salazar is a 2021 OF/LHP with a 5-10 162 lb. frame from Rolling Meadows, IL who attends Wm Fremd. Medium height with slender hips and easy projection to a frame that can add strength. Ran a 6.98 in the sixty yard dash. A primary outfielder, uses an aggressive approach to close on the ball with solid angles. Good momentum moving through with athletic actions. A left-handed hitter, starts even and slightly open with the base. Keeps his hands inside the ball and works the opposite field, solid feel for the barrel and has upside with added strength. A secondary pitcher, he worked exclusively from the stretch. Clean arm action with some sink to the fastball coming from a high 3/4 slot. Forces swings and looks to get ground ball contact. Showed a changeup with big fade as well. Good student.
