Caidyn Harrington is a 2027 SS/RHP/3B with a 5-9 130 lb. frame from Maylene, AL who attends Thompson. Lean young athletic build. 7.61 runner in the sixty. Primary shortstop on defense, has good athletic actions, moves to the ball well with active feet, fields the ball cleanly and has smooth glove to hand transitions, arm works well and had some young carry on his throws. Also worked out in the outfield. Right handed hitter, hits from a straight spread stance with a deep hand load, long swing path, showed good barrel control and made consistent contact, mid field to opposite field for the most part, can make adjustments to shorten his approach. Also pitched, works from a slow paced side step delivery with a compact high 3/4's arm action. Fastball topped out at 71 mph, tends to slow his body on his curveball but did a good job landing the pitch. Good athlete who will keep improving as he gets stronger, especially with the bat.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
