Tripp Lancaster is a 2024 2B/RHP/OF with a 6-2 145 lb. frame from Madison, GA who attends Morgan County. Tall and very slender young build with lots of room to get stronger. Right handed hitter, hits from an open start with an on-time close into contact, short inside swing with a mid field to opposite field swing approach, has good feel for the barrel and executes his swing well, will learn how to turn the barrel as he gets stronger. 7.01 runner in the sixty. Primary second baseman on defense, moves well laterally and has good agility and balance through the ball, still developing his glove position and timing, has enough arm strength for second base and makes accurate throws. Also worked out in the outfield. Took a turn on the mound, high leg raise delivery with a good gather over the rubber, high front side down the mound with an over the top arm slot and a big lower half lean to let his arm through. Fastball topped out at 79 mph, primary fastball pitcher who also mixed in a short slider and change up. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
