Aiden Morey is a 2024 3B/RHP/SS with a 5-10 150 lb. frame from Ocala, FL who attends Trinity Catholic. Solid athletic build with good present strength for his age and room for plenty more. Right handed hitter, hits from a very narrow stance with a turned in front side to start his swing, deep hand load, aggressive move into contact, lots going before his swing starts, swings hard, flashed good lift and middle of the field carry when his barrel got out on time, has hitting tools to develop with adjustments. 7.94 runner in the sixty. Has good lower half actions on defense in the infield, works low and behind the ball, aggressive to the ball, showed good arm strength with a clean exchange. Also pitched, compact and clean arm stroke from a high 3/4's arm slot, pretty low effort and easy mechanics with good balance and follow through out front. Only threw fastballs during his outing, topped out at 77 mph with good feel for locating especially to the glove side, has a chance to develop as a pitcher with the addition of a second pitch. Excellent student.
