Keegan Burke is a 2027 RHP/OF with a 6-1 150 lb. frame from Rio Rancho, NM who attends Rio Rancho. A taller and slender frame, with a lean build. Length throughout. Ran a 7.53 60-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher who has a controlled operation on the mound with a leg lift up just above the belt. He extends well down the mound, opening up the lower half with a good operation. He has some arm speed thru release, pitching from a high three-quarters arm slot. The fastball worked 84-86 mph and had good arm-side life to it, carrying well. His breaking ball was shorter and tighter with lateral slider break to it. He had good tilt to it. Overall on the mound, he has a slower and more deliberate start before whipping the arm thru release. He was able to locate well in the lower half of the zone early in his outing with good run. He threw 3.0 innings, allowing 3 hits with 6 strikeouts. He's a right-handed hitter with a wider base, high set hands, and his back elbow up as he sets up. He hit around it during his BP swings, working the barrel to it, looking to rotated through the swing. Produced an 80 mph exit velocity during PG Tech testing. Also worked out as an outfielder taking shorter steps to the ball as he works into it. He fields it off to the side and lets the throws go at 82 mph from the outfield. Throws were accurate and came out of a crow-hop into it. Great student.
