Michael Rossi is a 2024 OF/SS with a 5-6 150 lb. frame from Long Beach, NY who attends Long Beach Senior. Young, athletic frame build with tons of physical projection remaining to be added throughout his frame. 7.57-second runner during the sixty. Primary outfielder, fields off to the side with a deep funnel and deliberate footwork, while improving foot speed. Accurate throws to the bases with developing arm strength, up to 72 mph. Projects well in the outfield with natural feel for the position. Secondary middle-infielder, fields out in front working through the ball with deliberate footwork. Clean with the backhand as he plays low. Continuing to develop arm strength, up to 68 mph across the diamond. Right-handed hitter, sets up with an open stance and a high-hand set. Lunges to the ball, pulling his front sit out at times. Compact hand speed with a downhill swing plane. Developing feel for the barrel. Tremendous student.
