Joe Castillo is a 2024 1B/OF with a 6-3 180 lb. frame from Little Rock, AR who attends Little Rock Catholic. Lean athletic build with some present strength and room for plenty more. Right handed hitter, hits from a straight stance with a lean and lift approach and some back side collapse, uphill swing plane with his weight on his back side, can develop some future power with adjustments to his approach as he has leverage and projectable strength. 7.18 runner in the sixty. Primary first baseman on defense, moves well from side to side with some lower half athleticism. Also plays the outfield. Good student.
