Brooks Ward is a 2024 OF/MIF with a 6-2 198 lb. frame from Little Rock, AR who attends Little Rock Catholic. Nice young athletic build with good present strength and plenty more to come. 7.23 runner in the sixty. Primary outfield with young fundamentals, glove tends to get down late at the ball, long hooked arm action in back, can work to get on top of the ball better at release for more on line throws. Left handed hitter, power approach at the plate, uphill swing plane with pronounced back side collapse, long and strong swing with some bat speed and leverage and plenty of intent, showed his power well in the games. Excellent student.
