Tanner Berry is a 2025 C/3B, SS, MIF, OF, UT with a 5-10 163 lb. frame from Wilmington, NC who attends Eugene Ashley. Recorded a 7.26 second sixty-yard dash. Primary catcher sits low and to the side behind the plate using soft hands and a quick transfer to get good ground while accurately throwing to second base at 76 mph with a pop time of 2.07. Secondary infielder showed good athleticism with a quick first step fielding the ball out front throwing 79 mph across a diamond as he is developing footwork. Also took fly balls in the outfield with choppy athletic steps to the ball and showcased a short arm action accurately throwing 84 mph to the bases. Right-handed hitter steps to the plate with a slightly open and wide stance, an even handset, and sprays the ball all over the field with a short compact swing. Berry has great barrel control and exhibits quick hands and good bat speed while developing backspin on the ball.
