Chance Jones is a 2024 C/RHP/1B with a 6-0 150 lb. frame from Newport News, VA who attends Menchville. Tall and slender build with lots of room for physical development ahead of him. Ran a 7.78 second 60 yard dash. Primary catcher sets high with a soft glove for receiving and has strong fundamentals as he is developing arm strength. Right handed hitter with a neutral stance has high hands, a high back elbow, smooth and short swing to the ball with good barrel control, and works the ball middle of the field. Secondary right handed pitcher from the stretch has a high leg lift, high hands with an over the top slot creating good downhill action on the ball, and developing arm speed. Excellent student
