Logan Alberto is a 2023 OF/LHP/1B with a 5-7 175 lb. frame from East Patchogue, NY who attends Bellport. Compact build with some present strength. Left handed hitter, hits from an open stance with a toe tap trigger, has a strong well controlled swing with some bat speed, good hands through the ball and stays inside well, works middle of the field with a line drive swing plane, was on time and squared up in the games and drove the ball almost every at-bat, pretty polished hitting approach. 7.96 runner in the sixty. Step by step actions in the outfield, has good fundamentals and makes accurate throws. Also pitched, simple turn and throw mechanics with good lower half drive to the plate and a 3/4's arm slot, repeats his mechanics well. Fastball worked in the low 70's to go with a soft slurve type breaking ball with some tilt to it. Threw strikes with both pitches and had an effective outing. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
