Matt Stern is a 2025 C/RHP, 3B with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from Cherry Hill, NJ who attends Bishop Eustace Prep. Recorded a 7.78 second 60-yard dash time. Primary catcher with a long frame and slender build. Side-saddle stance on throws with a quick arm stroke replacing the feet. Young receiving actions that should improve with time behind the plate and a quick release. Secondary right-handed pitcher with a long arm stroke behind and 3/4 arm slot release. Ran the fastball up to 80 mph (1923 RPM) and spun a solid breaking ball in the low-70s (2201 RPM) with good spin. Right-handed hitter with a slightly open bent knee stance in the box. Knee-lift trigger short stride with a compact line drive path through the middle of the field. Strength out front with impact to the pull side when on-time. Added strength in slender frame will increase all aspects of his game. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
