Nicholas Romanelli is a 2025 2B/RHP/IF/OF with a 5-3 100 lb. frame from West Islip, NY who attends Chaminade. Romanelli has plenty of time to fill out the young frame and add strength in the future. From his primary IF spot, he successfully fielded out in front with reliable glove work ultimately topping out at 67 mph across the diamond. As the footwork refines and Romanelli physically develops, expect velocity numbers to increase. On the mound, the righty stayed over the rubber well with fluid mechanics through release from a high 3/4 slot. He pitched to contact and mixed a bigger shaped curveball to keep hitters honest at the dish. Offensively, Romanelli started from a wider open stance with a high hand set to generate contact back up the middle. Contact tool is evident with power becoming more of a factor in the future. Ran a 8.19 sixty yard dash. Good student.
