Leymi Guerra Baez is a 2022 OF with a 5-9 150 lb. frame from Hollywood, FL who attends Mcarthur. Long and lean frame. Ran a 7.30 second 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, worked out in the outfield with a quick approach to the ball, fields the ball out front well and funnels to a loose arm that creates some carry on throws to the bag. Also pitched at this event, showed athleticism in the operation with simple movements, loose arm through a three-quarters slot that creates some life to the fastball while mixing in a tight curveball with short depth. Left-handed hitter, sets up even with high hands and a high back elbow, works on a level swing plane and stays short to the ball generating some line drive contact. Good student.
