Jack Farley is a 2026 C/RHP, SS with a 4-10 94 lb. frame from Tappan, NY. Young, square shouldered frame, lean build with room to fill throughout and develop moving forward. Ran a 9.89 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, higher set behind the plate during drills, receives the ball out front with two hands, gains short ground and will continue to refine footwork, shorter arm action on throws, arm strength will continue to develop. Higher slot on throws across the infield, takes short steps moving to the backhand, some bend at waist when fielding, worked on top of throws with accuracy. Also pitched, worked exclusively out of the stretch, belt high leg lift with a compact arm action through the back working to a high three-quarters release point. Fastball topped out at 60 mph, short sink to it, can incorporate additional lower half. Switch-hitter, swing from right side more advanced at present; high hand set and back elbow at the plate, balanced in set up with a hanging leg lift trigger, shows looseness to hands with a linear path through the zone. High hand set start from left side with bat on shoulder, leg lift trigger for timing; loads hands back at start but stays short to the ball, linear path.
