Lucas Smith is a 2027 C/1B/3B with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from McKinney, TX. Physical frame with strength top to bottom. Ran a 7.85 second 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, staggered start but balanced in the lower half, good quickness to transfer and gets it out well, accurate with his throws and very steady to the bag. Right-handed hitter, very wide base and uses his physicality well, shorter swing and torques well, good strength through impact without really shifting the weight, can create leverage and finds the barrel often. Very consistent performer. Selected to the 2023 13U PG Select Festival.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
