2023 14U Texas All-State Games
Dillon Norris is a 2027 C/RHP, 3B, SS, UT with a 6-1 175 lb. frame from Houston, TX who attends Memorial. Strong, physical and well built prospect that has proportional strength in both halves of the current frame well advanced for many in the class. Ran a 7.88 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, slight side saddle setup, gains some ground through the process, athletic lower half and quick out of the crouch, looks the part here with a very solid fundamental base and understanding of the spot, solid direction with accurate throws down to second. Secondary infielder, developing actions here, quick over the top slot, nice barehanded charge, definite corner profile right now. Took reps in the outfield, two hand gather off the hip, carries some momentum through it with a quicker arm stroke, higher slot, solid idea out there. Right-handed hitter, strong kid and it shows, swings with intent and can turn it over nicely, some projectable juice in the stick given size and current swing, balanced base with a slight rock to backside, some bat sped on him and can create leverage out front. Worked hard behind the dish in game and can block it up, switches stances once a runner reaches base, showed some opposite field juice in game and barreled up a deep sac fly in game. Good student. Named to the 2023 14U Texas All-State Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
