Christian Tapia is a 2024 SS/2B with a 5-7 150 lb. frame from Orange, CA who attends Yorba Linda. Compact build with developing strength gains in store. Ran a 7.03 in the 60-yard dash. Middle infielder, hands and feet remained in-sync with soft hands. Flashed feel for the leather, has some intent and purpose in his actions. Right-handed pitcher, showed a short arm action through the back from a higher three-quarter slot. Fastball reached high-70s with a sharp slider with late shape. Right-handed hitter, narrow base with higher hand set and leg lift to load. Shows present jump off the barrel as strong hands create lift in the path. Gets extended out front. Excellent student.
