Davin Luck is a 2024 OF/RHP, 3B with a 6-1 180 lb. frame from Conroe, TX who attends Grand Oaks.Primary outfielder with an athletic projectable build showing strength to build on moving forward. Shows quick feet in the outfield working to the ball with good angles and creating direction with a quicker gather as he works into the throws with above average arm strength. Starts square in the wind up on the mound with a side step into a belt high leg lift with a short arm action to a three-quarters arm slot. Is able to get the fastball to the glove side when the front side stays connected coming down the hill topping out at 81 mph. Mixed in a slider with average sweeping action in the low 70’s as the primary off-speed. Right-handed hitter starts slightly open with a hanging leg lift to get back to even. Displayed some punch at the point of contact staying linear through the hitting zone with line drive contact to the pull side gap. The extension through the baseball and balance to the swing combine for a solid bat to ball profile. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
