David Arroyo is a 2024 C/3B with a 5-9 180 lb. frame from Kindred, FL who attends Gateway. Medium frame with a sturdy build showing a strong lower half. Ran a 8.81 second sixty yard dash. Primary Catcher, sitting down in his stance and stays low throughout movements. Receives the ball well before working into a clean exchange. Full arm circle and released over the top. Weight falling to glove side. Accurate to the bag as he recorded a pop time of 2.21 seconds. Right-handed Hitter, narrow and open in the stance to start. Bigger leg lift to stride as the hands float back. Longer path as he stays linear. Looks to get the bat head out and drive it to the away side. Generates backspin at times showing proving to have some power. Great Student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
