Maddox Miesse is a 2022 C/UT with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from San Antonio, TX who attends East Central. Recorded a 7.06 second 60 yard dash time. Lean and athletic build with plenty of physical projection remaining. Primary catcher with an even stance and short arm action. Transfers at the chest, gains ground and stays low throughout the process. Soft hands and firm throws, ball comes out of the hand easy. Secondary infielder that works underneath the ball, high effort throws from an over the top slot. Clean glove, moves through the ball and shows athletic actions. Right-handed hitter with a narrow set, strides into an even stance. Deep hand load and loose swing, has some whip to the barrel. Level bat path, solid impact when squared, backside approach. Strong swing that looks to inflict damage, found the barrel consistently during his round. Excellent student. Named to the 2020 Lone Star Showcase Top Prospect List.
