Ethan Mowry is a 2024 3B/RHP, 1B, 2B with a 6-3 215 lb. frame from Lenexa, KS who attends Olathe Northwest. Large frame with present physical strength. Recorded 8.02 60-yd time. Primary thrip baseman with sound fundamentals. Recorded 68 mph throw in infield drills with accuracy. Also participated in drills at first base, showed sound fundamentals. Needs to continue to refine footwork around the bag at 1B. RH hitter with narrow, slightly open stance. Line drive, contact type hitting approach. Tries to hit to all fields. Still developing bat speed & raw strength in swing. As RH pitcher, has overall sound delivery, pitches from the middle of the rubber. Throws from 3/4 arm slot. Lacks good arm speed. FB has occasional arm side run, needs to improve FB command. Breaking ball lacks consistent tight rotation & bite, has occasional 11/5 type action. Needs to continue to improve overall control & command of all pitches. Young player that has the potential to continue to improve with proper development and added physical strength. Excellent student.
