Andrew Loikits is a 2023 SS/RHP, 2B with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from South Haven, MI who attends St. Joseph. Solid, broad frame with present physicality and still room for more. Ran the 60-yard dash in an outstanding 6.62 seconds. Primary position SS who showed exceptional quickness although he did wait back on the ball occasionally. However, with his quality footwork and very advance arm strength he was always able to speed things up and make plays appropriately. He generated throws across the field that reached 91 mph and he knows where the ball is going. He is a very toolsy middle infielder and still has room for overall refinement which is quite exciting. Right handed hitter who loads well to his backside, gets on plane and creates good extension. Swings the bat hard with intent to do damage, likes to launch the ball to the oppo gap but does get a little bit of length at times. HIs hands are heavy at contact and project well, he looks like he will be a threat with his legs and the bat for the longterm. He's a tremendous student and has the potential for five tools down the line.
