Michael Lazaridis is a 2024 SS/2B with a 5-8 175 lb. frame from Medford, NY who attends Patchogue-Medford. Compact frame with present strength in lower half. A 7-second runner during the sixty-yard dash. Primary middle infielder, fields out in front out frame with solid fielding mechanics for age. Good footwork and process, can improve foot speed. Accurate throws from several arm slots, up to 78 mph across the diamond. Secondary right-handed pitcher, filled the zone with strikes, working efficiently. Simple operation on the mound, full wind-up, belt-high leg lift into an easy drop, and drive lower half. Over-the-top arm slot, creating some downward sink on fastball, up to 76 mph while ranging low-to-mid 70's. Flashed good depth on curveball that can be an effective out pitch as he continues to develop feel for it. Right-handed hitter, sets up with an open stance and a high-hand set. Utilizes toe-tap-trigger, hands remain inside the ball and found the barrel consistently through round. Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
