2020 Southeast Prospect Showcase
Ethan Haley is a 2024 OF/RHP, SS with a 5-9 155 lb. frame from Jamestown, TN who attends Alvin C York Institute. He ran a 7.60 second sixty. A primary outfielder with a young lean build showing room to fill moving forward. In the outfield he workd aggerssivly to the ball into a long arm actio with developing arm strenght from a three-quarters release and on line throws to the bases. In the infield he worked well laterally in each direction with developing feel for the glove, was able to get rid of the ball quick with a short arm action and fast release with arm strength that will develope with added strength. At the plate, his righthanded swing starts with an open stance and toe tap trigger, his weight stays on his back side through the swing with a longer swing path, he will develope better feel for the barrel with more consistent timing to begain the swing.
