Syr Baron Bailey is a 2022 OF/MIF with a 5-11 195 lb. frame from Pearland, TX who attends Lutheran South Academy. Medium build with physicality and room to still fill out as he continues to develop. Primary outfielder, bigger crow hope, meticulous with his reads off of the bat. Fluid through the baseball, fields off to the side. Throws stay on line to all bags. At the plate, uses a narrow and upright stance with a toe tap to low hanging leg lift trigger. Simple load, elevated barrel plane through the zone with good bat speed. Allows the ball to get deep. Middle to opposite field approach. Great student in the classroom as well.
