LATEST PG SHOWCASE REPORT
2022 National Indoor Showcase (Saturday)
Mickey Plemmons is a 2026 C/RHP/1B with a 6-2 195 lb. frame from Nolensville, TN who attends Nolensville. Big and strong athletic build, really stands out physically for his age. Right handed hitter, hits from an upright straight stance with a busy hand/barrel load, has a flat swing with a pull side approach, swings hard and is looking to drive the ball and has the present strength to impact the ball, not much present lift in his swing now but that will come with repetitions. 7.88 runner in the sixty. Primary catcher on defense, has young footwork and arm strength, tends to stand straight up to throw out of his crouch, compact arm circle. Also pitched, has a low effort delivery and stays in line to the plate well. Fastball topped out at 70 mph, also threw a soft curveball with reduced arm speed.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
