Caleb Heis is a 2025 RHP/IF with a 6-0 150 lb. frame from Cullman, AL who attends Cullman. Long and lean young athletic build. High leg lift delivery from a side step start, long and loose arm action, arm gets out ahead of his lower half at times but stays on top of the ball well. Fastball topped out at 71 mph, worked mostly glove side with his fastball due to his delivery timing. Curveball was a good pitch for him, landed it for strikes well and created good spin. 7.96 runner in the sixty, moved well on defense in the middle infield and showed his athleticism especially when coming through the ball. Right handed hitter, hits from a straight spread stance with a limited lower half shift, rock back/in approach, shows some strength at contact when he gets his long arms extended through contact. Projectable young athlete who will keep improving as he gets stronger. Good student.
