2022 Northern California Workout Showcase (Saturday)
Jace Bernard is a 2025 SS/RHP, IF with a 5-11 135 lb. frame from Brentwood, CA who attends Heritage. Lean frame with plenty of projection for the future. Ran the sixty in 8.22 seconds. A primary SS, he showed soft and active hands when fielding grounders to both sides of his body. He showed solid feel for accuracy on his throws and his top toss across the infield was clocked at 70 MPH. With the bat he hit out of a spread, slightly open stance and used a simple load to generate leverage in his strokes. Uses an all-fields approach offensively. Is also a great student in the classroom.
