2023 PG Underclass All-American Games
Win Gurney is a 2025 OF/C with a 6-0 205 lb. frame from Manhattan Beach, CA who attends Mira Costa. Features a strong/physical build. In the OF, showed an athletic approach working quick to the ball creating momentum through reception. His arm action was longer out the glove where he was up to 85 mph with some effort at release. Throws were higher arcing and accurate. At the plate, he sits in an even base and uses a hanging leg lift trigger that loads into his backside. He drifts into footstrike as hands work into a quality launch position. His strong hands throw a fast barrel with advanced bat speed. Path works more direct with decent length out front. Got beat at times during his round but impact was loud out front showing some advanced power that showed in gameplay with a double he pounded into the left-center gap. Currently uncommitted.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
