Nicholas Jones is a 2022 RHP with a 6-4 155 lb. frame from Sapulpa, OK who attends Sapulpa. Tall and lean build with lots of room to get stronger. Rhythm delivery with a medium leg lift start, over the top arm action with a compact arm action in back, works downhill and directional well. Upper 70's fastball, gets good arm side running life and locates his fastball well. Slider was a solid second pitch for him with some downer shape and good biting action, also thrown for strikes. Maintained his arm speed well on his change up with some fading life. Knows how to sequence his pitches and work ahead. Key to his development is simply gaining more strength, has the other elements to be a next level pitcher already. 7.94 runner in the sixty. Good student.
