Sylvester Tournier is a 2025 3B/RHP, IF, OF with a 6-1 180 lb. frame from Chesterfield, MO who attends De Smet Jesuit. Medium size athletic frame. Ran a 7.24 60-yard dash. Primary corner infielder with quick lateral reactions, footwork to the baseball, rhythm with the hands working through the baseball, funnels to waist moving up the middle, maintains balance, gathers the feet and shows an above avg throwing arm across the diamond. Hit from a medium base, wraps the barrel, rotates thorough the ball with an in sync swing, average hand speed and some strength in the swing. Gets on plane and extends through the baseball well making consistent quality contact. Stretch only on the mound with a fastball and slider out of a high three-quarter arm slot. Four seam fastball up to 87 and a two seam fastball with heavy arm side sink. Primarily four seamers used up in the zone and two seamers used on the edges. Feel for a slider that he spun over 2300 RPM with sweeping action across the zone. Athletic and well connected delivery that has plenty of potential going forward. Named to National Indoor Top Prospect List. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
