Drew Timp is a 2025 LHP/1B, OF with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from Ballwin, MO, who attends Kirkwood Sr. A slender and athletic frame. Higher set waist. Ran a 7.73 60-yard dash. A primary left-handed pitcher. Has a belt-high leg lift, working from a three-quarters arm slot. Has a clean arm action with some arm speed, throwing mid-70s fastballs with some arm-side run up to 77 mph. The pitch spun up to 2,054 RPMs and had some downhill plane to it. Threw the fastball consistently for strikes. Had two different off-speed pitches. A 1-7 shaped curveball with depth and consistent shape, spinning up to 2,276 RPMs. Also was able to really kill spin on the changeup down to 1,242 RPMs throwing it at 68 mph. A well-defined three-pitch mix with the ability to throw strikes. Projectable actions moving forward. A left-handed hitter with high-set hands and a high-back elbow. Used a toe-tap trigger with hard rotation through contact. Good job getting extended and driving the ball well. He was able to lift and drive it in the air to the back of the cage. Worked out as an outfielder with choppy steps working into it and throws that were on a good flight. Fields the ball off the front foot with direct actions working to it and through it. Throws were at 80 mph from the outfield. Great student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
