Konnor Briggs is a 2027 LHP/1B/OF with a 6-3 175 lb. frame from Oxford, FL who attends Villages Charter. Extra-Large, lean frame with a high waist, long levers and huge physical projection remaining. Recorded a 7.78 second sixty-yard dash time. Primary left-handed pitcher that worked from an abbreviated windup with moderate leg lift into balance and good lower half movements down the slope. Maintains good rhythm and tempo down the slope, has some arm speed and will continue to add velocity. Fastball worked steadily in the upper-70s to low-80s with plenty of arm side life to it, peaking at 81 mph in this look from a high three-quarters arm slot. Attack mentality with the fastball early and often, worked both sides of the plate and the bottom of the zone effectively. Mixed in short, cutter like secondary offering as go-to secondary offering, showing the ability to miss barrels and generate weak contact with it when ahead in the count. Will continue to improve with additional velocity and additions to his repertoire. Secondary first baseman with agile footwork around the bag, a clean funnel out in-front and quick, athletic turns. Produced accurate throws up to 72 mph across the diamond during drills. Took part in the outfield portion of the defensive workout as well, where he showed aggressive actions into the fielding process and produced accurate throws up to 75 mph during drills. Fields slightly deeper, works behind the baseball and gathers cleanly into release. Left-handed hitter that hits from a spread stance with a tight hand set, high back elbow and minimal weight shift into contact. Leveraged stroke with sound barrel skills and strength at impact. Simple operation with middle-of-the field intent and the ability to turn the barrel over the inner half when necessary. Creates separation, has present bat speed and will continue to expand his overall power potential with minor adjustments and additional strength. Extremely projectable, young prospect with limitless potential on the mound.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
