Jaxon Olmstead is a 2027 RHP/C, 3B, IF, UT with a 5-7 130 lb. frame from Huntington Beach, CA who attends Huntington Beach. Primary right-handed pitcher with a medium frame and slender build. Recorded a 8.43 second 60-yard dash time. Right-handed pitcher with a side step to a high leg lift and short arm swing to a 3/4 arm slot getting down the slope. Fastball up to 73 mph and breaking ball up to 61 mph. Lands closed with an open front foot to get over his front side but controls the zone with both offerings. Added size and strength should clean up his delivery at release for added velocity as he matures into frame. Secondary infielder with loose movements and deliberate actions. Throws across the diamond at 61 mph as he matures into his young frame. Left-handed hitter with even base and high back elbow slot. Simple load with slightly lofted path through the zone using the whole field. Simple load with under control swing and more impact as he matures physically. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
