Kaden Peterson is a 2022 OF/RHP with a 5-11 160 lb. frame from Sparks, NV who attends Edward C Reed. Medium frame with a lean, athletic type build showing room to fill out physically in the future. Ran a 7.05 second sixty yard dash. Primary Outfielder, utilizing quick, efficient routes to and through the baseball as he gathers out front. Carries weight well into throws as he threw it 83 mph with accuracy. Fundamentally sound and projects here going forward. Secondary Right-Handed Pitcher, working with a side step to a higher leg lift before driving direct to the dish. Released from a higher slot that was over the top. Natural deception in the delivery with a lot of moving parts as he proved to have feel for a three pitch mix. Fastball up to 81 mph as he pounded the lower half of the zone with it while showing arm side run. Mixed in a breaking ball showing big depth with 12-to-6 movements. Completed his three pitch mix with a changeup that is work in progress but landed for strikes. Right-Handed Hitter, starting wide with the base and sitting down in his stance. Weight shift trigger before showing a loose, whippy swing. Bat speed present as he looked to impact out front. Pull-side pop showing when he gets extended and times it up. Also proved he could drive it the other way on a line. Outstanding Student. Named to NorCal Workout Camp Top Prospect List.
