Beckett Gurian is a 2025 1B/RHP/OF with a 6-1 192 lb. frame from Matthews, NC who attends Union Academy. Large frame with some present strength to the build. Ran a 7.54 second 60-yard dash. Primary first baseman, athletic around the bag with good intent to his actions, fields it cleanly and showed good arm strength across. Similar actions in the outfield, developing some footwork and athleticism but showed a good arm on sound throws. Pitched as well, full wind up with a clean delivery, threw lots of strikes from a three-quarters slot and showed some feel to spin. Left-handed hitter, narrow and even stance, glides to the ball with a slightly late trigger but shows good barrel control, can produce some lift at impact and has some present strength to the swing that create some carry. Good student.
