2023 13U/14U Deep South Prospect Showcase
Braydon Sutch is a 2027 C/RHP, 2B, 3B, SS, OF with a 5-8 135 lb. frame from Wallisville, TX who attends Anahuac. Long and lean frame with a lot to project on. Ran a 8.68 in the sixty yard dash. Primary catcher, gains ground toward second base, smooth transfer with accurate throws to the bag, popped a 2.32 in drills. Secondary infielder, works through the back hand well, took good angles to the ball with clean glove work. Also pitched, builds through the delivery slow to fast while staying tall on the backside down the mound, longer fuller arm circle to a 3/4 release, worked the bottom of the zone consistently with a fastball that flashed occasional down hill angle, fastball topped at 73 mph, curveball showed big sweeping action and tight spin, change up had nice depth to it and will improve with better intent and more consistent release point. Right handed hitter, even base with active hands pre pitch, small leg lift trigger for timing, linear swing path looking to pull the baseball.
