Anthony Murphy is a 2026 OF/RHP/3B with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Corona, CA who attends Corona. Features a taller, slender build with projectability remaining. Ran a 7.04 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder. Caught the ball cleanly throughout the round. Good footwork help transition well into throws while maintaining momentum. Whippy arm action produced strong, accurate throws with good carry to the target. Threw 87 mph during workouts. Right-handed hitter. Utilizes a slightly open stance with a narrow base and upright posture. Moderating leg kick timing mechanism creates solid separation. Slight uppercut bat path showed quality bat speed through the zone. Stays balanced and controlled throughout swings. Approach is geared toward the middle of the field. Has the ability to drive the ball into both gaps. Even more power should come as more strength is added to the frame. Also threw on the mound. Righthanded pitcher. Utilizes a semi-windup delivery with tall and fall mechanics. A slight crossfire landing adds deception. There is solid armspeed within the long, loose arm action out a high 3/4 slot. The fastball sat 73-75 mph with armside run. There is more velocity in the tank. Showcased the ability to pound the zone with the offering. It paired with a curveball at 59-62 mph with slurve action. The offering showed some bite to it, making it a quality second offering. Also showcased a changeup in the mid-60’s with slight fading action.
