Jacob Gonzalez is a 2023 OF/IF with a 5-7 140 lb. frame from Mesa, AZ who attends Highland HS. Recorded a 7.16 second 60-yard dash time. Younger frame with a lot of room to add strength. Primary outfielder who attacks the ball and fields with two hands. Shorter arm action with a tight slot and shows good athleticism from the position. Lefthanded hitter with a narrow and open stance, downward path, and some twitch to the swing. Direct path to contact with an accurate barrel. All fields approach and swings hard. Shows some pull side feel with lift at the end of the swing. Keeps it simple and allows him to show hand-eye coordination. Great student.
