Hayden Hughes is a 2026 SS/OF with a 5-6 114 lb. frame from Conroe, TX who attends College Park. Young, squared frame with a lean build and room to fill and develop moving forward. Ran a 7.18 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, moves around well on feet and shows athleticism, works through the baseball, actions at the ball will continue to refine, shows the ability to change arm slots on throws across, arm strength will keep developing. Fields the ball closer to body in the outfield, some momentum used coming through the ball, ball comes out of hand cleanly. Righthanded hitter, begins with a slightly open stance with a high hand set and back elbow at the plate. Aggressive approach and swings with intent, works to the middle of the field and gets the barrel to the ball, repeats swing, projects with added strength.
