Ryan Bui is a 2023 SS/RHP/OF with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Manhattan Beach, CA who attends Mira Costa. Athletic build with plenty of physical projection remaining. 7.10 runner in the sixty. Primary shortstop on defense, has fluid actions with polished footwork, works around, and through, the ball well and stays balanced, throws from multiple angles with good accuracy. Also played the outfield but wasn't as polished out there. Right handed hitter, hits from a straight balanced stance with a simple and short trigger and shift, line drive gap to gap approach, has present bat speed and the ability to impact the ball, can get more into his lower half for even more bat speed. Will continue to improve as he matures physically. Elite level student. Named to the California Workout Showcase Top Prospect List.
