Haiden Leffew is a 2023 LHP/1B with a 6-3 190 lb. frame from Kannapolis, NC who attends South Rowan HS. Durably build frame with strength in the lower half and solid physicality. Primary left-handed pitcher who only pitched during the event. Turn step into a leg lift above the belt. Longer arm stroke through the back and topped out at 93 mph, living in the 88-91 mph range. Slider has shorter break to it and the curveball worked in the upper-70s with a better spin profile. Changeup shows some fade and can get a good amount of whiffs. Four pitch mix with some projection here long term. Tremendous student. Verbal commitment to Wake Forest.
