Trip Dobson is a 2024 SS/RHP with a 6-1 190 lb. frame from Baton Rouge, LA who attends Catholic. Recorded a 7.14 in the 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop has good athleticism that projects well as he continues to gain strength. He fields the ball late with a quick arm action and strongly throws across the diamond at 86 mph. Right-handed hitter stands in the box with a narrow and open stance, high hands, and a high back elbow. Dobson loads the back side, swings with good barrel control, and impacts the ball using ample power as he works the ball with a gap-to-gap approach. Excellent student.
