Joshua Staten is a 2024 OF with a 6-2 175 lb. frame from Euless, TX who attends Trinity. Long and lean athletic build with lots of room to get stronger. 6.85 speed in the sixty, speed is a factor on the bases and in the outfield. Moves well defensively in the outfield and has good fundamentals at the ball, has a long and loose arm action that projects well and makes accurate on-line throws, center field tools defensively. Right handed hitter, hits from a deep hand load and a foot turn trigger, limited lower half shift, has fast hands and creates some present bat speed, pull to mid field line drive contact and will flash power potential when he gets extended.
